My yoga therapy sessions with Maribel were so relaxing after chemotherapy. Chemo treatment can really be depressing especially with the known side effects; but with the yoga therapy sessions, somehow I had something to look forward to help me overcome the side effects. Working with Maribel made me very comfortable because of how calm and gentle she introduced the exercises to me. The exercises helped me direct my attention, not on my sickness and after effect of the treatment, but more on how to cope with it. I always look forward to our Saturday morning sessions. I have been telling my friends and officemates that my online yoga therapy with Maribel and then doing those exercises on my own, really helped me throughout my entire healing journey.
